Background
Prior to forming E. Matarasso, Inc., Ernie spent over thirty years in government service. He served his last twenty years as the Director of Medicaid Fraud and Abuse at the New York State Department of Health. He also served as Assistant Director for the HRA Office of the Inspector General supervising investigations of internal corruption and criminality. Throughout his government career, he has received commendations from Federal and State and Local prosecutors. Throughout his private career, he has served in Management positions and as a part of an Independent Review Organization ("IRO") resulting in similar commendations from law firms and health care practitioners.
